Third Post

 Incentives:

The concept of incentives is one that I'm indifferent about. I think in a lot of ways incentives can be healthy as they appeal towards accomplishing a goal or finishing a task, but I think in other ways they can be harmful. Sometimes the job at hand, as well as the meaning of the job at hand can be lost in the rewards of what has gotten you to that point. For example, incentivizing civilians who help out in medical needs. A weird example, but the point that I'm trying to make is that one shouldn't try to accomplish a goal for their incentives, but rather accomplish their goal because it is the right thing to do beit morally, or in their line of work.

 Motivation: Motivation to me has been a large focal point of my life, and something I've constantly been looking to improve. Oftentimes, especially when I was younger, I lacked motivation to do the things I didn't want to do. As I get older, I don't so much look at the task at hand, but at the implications that task has on my life. Understanding the greater goals in my life has allowed me to achieve and accomplish much smaller goals, and accomplish seemingly tedious tasks that I may not have had motivation to do otherwise.

Second Post

Addiction: Addiction to me is something that I have had close encounters with in my life. Me personally, I have not experienced addiction, although people near me and people I love have experienced it. I have learned that addiction comes in many forms, and can be triggered by just about anything. Most importantly I have learned that anyone can be susceptible to addiction. For some, addiction can be triggered on a first-time basis, while for others it is a long process, however the result can still end up being the same. I implored the people I love to seek help and fortunately a lot of the people I love have been able to make full recoveries.
